NOS Civil Defence Generator. Almost Never Used.


⭕ Held in reserve for a cold war that never made it to local soild, this 3kw military grade Generator sat in a box all but forgotten. It has an enormous 14 HP Briggs and Stratton Horizontal Shaft cast Iron engine and there are many twist lock outlets on the generator and a volt meter. It produces only 120 volts ac. As you can see in the pictures, the masking tape used at the factory on the engine data plate is still there, I actually removed some of it to see the model numbers of the engine. I fired it up for a few seconds, I pulled the carb and is clean as new. I need to clean out the fuel bowl still. This thing is big, and very heavy. The spark plug and ignition wire are military grade. Vintage garden tractor collectors would like to part it out for the new engine for their small tractor. A real Bargain at $249.00.
