RV Campsite For Rent In Salt Springs FL
Lot is paved and level (some others in the resort have steep inclines). Parking pad is over 50 feet deep. The back side is completely clear for over 40 ft so there is nothing to be in the way of your slide outs. Front of the lot is wide enough to park two vehicles. There is a 8x10 ft patio area off the side of the parking pad with pic-nic table. Plus in the back under the shade of a few trees there is a patio area with a high top table and 4 chairs that has a center grill/fire bowl - just bring your propane. Each lot is allowed one RV/TT, 2 vehicles, and one additional trailer (boat utility etc) Plus there is an extra lot for trailer parking by the boat ramp. 30 amp and 50 amp service.
The resort has great amenities including kiddie pool, family pool, adults only pool and hot tub. Tennis courts, Fishing pier, Dog Park, pool and ping pong tables, air conditioned lodge with free WiFi, boat ramp and ¼ mile of lakefront.
This is a GREAT boating destination. Campground is on little Lake Kerr (but dont let the name fool you, it is still a sizeable lake good for skiing, tubing etc). Boat ramp in the park with trailer parking area that is available for up to 7 days of parking. You can just anchor your boat on the sandy beach so that you can jump in and go each day. Bring all the water toys! Jet Skis, kayaks, canoes and other small boats can travel from Little Lake Kerr into Big Lake Kerr via the shallow canal.
This small town in the center of Ocala National Forest looks like Old Florida. There is a townsquare with laundry mat, breakfast diner, bait and tackle shop and a Bar & Grill with everything from an ice cream counter to live music and karaoke nights out back. Salt Springs Park is across the street. Hiking/Birding trails as well as trailheads for the Ocala North OHV Trail Systems are scattered around the area. Within 5 miles down Highway 19 is are two boat ramps for Salt Springs Run and Lake George, plus Silver Glen Springs Park.
Less than 30 minutes away is Ravine Garden Park, Silver Springs and Wild Waters Park, Juniper Springs, Rodman Recreation Area.
A one hour drive will take you to historic St Augustine.
Within 2 hours you can reach Daytona Beach, Orlando, or WeekiWachee Springs with mermaid shows and water park.
